Meet the Team
Rob Grimbleby - Managing Director
With over 24 years within the Off-Site Construction Industry, Rob holds a wealth of experience and knowledge, bringing valuable experience to the Management Team, with all aspects of business from Finance, Commercial, Design, Estimating, Manufacturing and Contracts.
His professionalism and focus on differentiating Module-AR from its competitors ensures that the company consistently looks to improve.
Rob says: “Delivering a project to a high standard on time and within budget is a given. It’s the service and client experience we deliver that makes us different and we achieve this through employing professional individuals with a focussed team approach”
Rob is responsible for formulating and successfully implementing Company Policies and Procedures to ensure that the company’s operating objectives and standards of performance are not only understood but owned by the Management Team and employees.
A key focus is directing strategy towards profitable growth and operation of the company, development of strategic plans that reflect the long term objectives and priorities to safeguard the future of the company and its employees.
Steve Raddings - Technical Director
With over 23 years experience within the Off-Site Construction Industry and an HNC in Construction, Steve has a wealth of Design & Technical knowledge within the Construction Industry, in particular within the Education Market Sector, thus bringing valuable experience to the Design Team.
Steve is responsible for ensuring the delivery of all projects in accordance with relevant policy & procedures and adhering to all statutory and regulatory legislation. Attention to detail and a hands on approach while working closely with all departments are key to a successful project.
A key focus is to develop & maintain high quality relationships with consultants and clients alike to achieve the end goal of Designing & Building a quality and compliant product.
Amanda Grimbleby - Sales Director
With over 20 years within the Off-Site Construction Industry, Amanda holds a wealth of experience and knowledge, bringing valuable Sales & Marketing experience to the Company.
Amanda is a successful individual with an outstanding track record in delivering sustained revenue and growth profitability for the company year on year.
Her experience in leading a Sales and Marketing Team has generated many new business opportunities.
Amanda has good business acumen with the ability to operate and communicate at all levels. Her background for the past 20 years has been Sales & Marketing within the Off-Site Modular Building Sector, however her strengths also cover all aspects of the business including Design, Manufacturing, Site Operations and Finance.
An effective and dynamic communicator coupled with good business sense and commercial awareness has contributed to the continued business growth and success over the years.
Colin Egan - Contracts Manager
Colin has been a member of the Module-AR management team since joining the organisation in 2013 to assist with the company’s expansion plans. Colin is responsible for all post-contract activity and management of our Site Management Teams with responsibility for Health & Safety across all our site’s.
Prior to joining the company, Colin worked with numerous Construction and Modular Building companies where he started in 1980 as a junior surveying engineer. He has extensive experience in the successful planning and delivery of large scale Design & Build projects specialising in logistics planning of heavily built up and challenging site locations.
Colin is a strong believer in the fully integrated team working approach and recognises the need for strong leadership as a key to motivation and achievement. Colin has an NVQ Level 7 in Senior Construction Management and is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building.
Paul Campey - Production Manager
Paul joined Module-AR as the Production Manager in July 2012 and leads a team of very experienced skilled and semi- skilled factory operatives and supervisors.
His experience spans over 25 years in the Off-Site Modular Construction industry with a wide and varied range of skills & experience through all departments. He is a skilled man manager and team builder.
Paul demonstrates a professional, positive, hands on approach with strong technical/design ability and excellent product knowledge with an ability to plan effectively using Construction and Lean Manufacturing techniques. All of which are necessary skills within the high quality, Off-Site Construction industry of today.
David Hall - Procurement Manager
David has been a key member of the management team since joining Module-AR in 2012.
He has a wealth of experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Production Planning, Design and Health & Safety.
With his key links within the supply chain, David has broadened the supplier and sub-contractor base and forged good working relationships to allow the company to work effectively across the UK but still derive best value and just in time procurement.
A highly motivated and strategic thinking procurement/supply chain professional with excellent Technical knowledge and understanding of Off-Site building techniques coupled with a strong practical background and hands on approach, he always knows who to call.
James Farmer - QE Manager
James is responsible for managing the company’s Quality and Environmental Management Systems, ensuring they are regularly reviewed, are in line with industry standards and implemented throughout the business.
James is diversely experienced within this high pressure Off-Site Modular manufacturing environment with 15 years’ experience in Production Quality / Planning / Contractor and Procurement Management divisions. He maintains, develops and improves systems of control in all disciplines of the business to ensure the importance of our Quality & Environmental policies are highlighted throughout, working closely with Manufacturing, Design, Contracts Teams and the Client to assist with development and improvement for the future.
Our in-house QMS operates in line with ISO Accreditation 9001:2008 and 14001:2004 with our business objective to seek full accreditation during the second quarter of 2016 shortly followed by development towards ISO 18001 accreditation. James has a professional attitude, a methodical & proactive approach to his work and is a positive team player.
